Created in Namur, Belgium, in 1941, IATA (Institut d’Enseignement des Arts, Techniques, Sciences et Artisanats) offers a broad palette of art and design courses, including jewellery.
France- Chambre Syndicale Nationale BJO (CSNBJO)
Chambre Syndicale Nationale de la Bijouterie, Joaillerie, Orfèvrerie et des activités qui s’y rattachent (National Professional Association of Jewellery, Silversmiths and related activities), founded in 1864, currently administers the precious metals sector in France.
Through its involvement with numerous international organizations and the European Commission, and its promotion of exports, the Association contributes to the growing presence and influence of the jewellery and silverware industry on an international scale.
Germany- Fachhochschule für Gestaltung
Pforzheim School of Design, part of the Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences, offers a range of degree programs in Fashion Design, Jewellery Design, Visual Communication, Industrial Design and Transportation Design and a postgraduate program in Transportation Design.
Greece-
Galileo V.T.S.
GALILEO VTS was founded in 1954 in Athens as a school of technical trades, making it the oldest school of its kind in Greece that is still in operation. Jewellery was added in 1993.

Accademia delle Arti Orafe
Academy of Jewellery Art. The objective of the Academy is the prevalence of goldsmith and jewellery art. It provides a preparation for those who wish to become professional in goldsmith work and jewellery art.
Le Arti Orafe
Devised and founded in 1985 by Giò Carbone, Le Arti Orafe is the most important Italian private school for goldsmithery, offering courses of various lengths in subjects related to jewellery and goldsmithery with a particular emphasis on professional training and artistic research.
Scuola d’Arte e Mestieri di Vicenza
Vicenza School of Art and Trades has close ties with the jewellery sector as a whole, and course content is managed by a committee of experts in the field. The school’s partners include the Industrial Association of Vicenza and the Vicenza Fair.
Istituto Europeo di Design
With schools in Rome, Milan, Cagliari, Turin and Madrid, the Istituto Europeo di Design offers three-year courses for school- or university-leavers entering the design profession, and specialist courses for Continuing and Advanced Study Programs.

Escola Secundária Soares dos Reis
The school offers courses in gold and silversmithing and jewellery, encouraging an artistic approach combined with solid technical skills in the transformation of precious metals. Students are trained with a view to continuing their studies or to begin work upon completion of the course.

Atteridgeville Goldsmith, Art & Design Training Project
Established by Vukani-Ubuntu Community Development Projects in January 1999, and mainly sponsored by AngloGold, this is South Africa’s first jewellery training and manufacturing project in a black township. The two year jewellery course is a fast track method of training disadvantaged, inexperienced people to produce jewellery in a short time.
Virginia Jewellery School
The Virginia Jewellery School, a second community development project, sponsored by the Italian government and Harmony Gold Mining Co., was launched in September 2000 and currently trains 20 underprivileged learners

The school in Birmingham, England offers a program of short courses dealing with particular areas of the craft, including technology, design and commerce.
